Courses
Interactive Systems Studio
A project-based studio introducing methods for sketching, prototyping, and evaluating interactive systems. Students practice iterative design while learning how to communicate technical ideas through demos, critique, and concise writing.
Student Work
Students produce working prototypes, short design reports, and final demonstrations that connect interaction concepts to everyday contexts.
Human-Centered Research Methods
This course covers interview planning, observation, study design, and qualitative synthesis for computing research. Selected readings are discussed alongside practical exercises and small field assignments.
Student Work
Student work includes research plans, pilot studies, annotated observations, and reflective reports on method selection.
Computational Fabrication Workshop
A hands-on workshop on digital fabrication, material experimentation, and rapid prototyping. Students connect fabrication workflows with interface design and may reference open resources such as accessibility guidelines when evaluating physical interaction concepts.
